Since its inception in 2015, NIGERIA Technology Awards (NiTA) has grown into an established technology recognition platform, recognizing and celebrating over 1,500 individuals, professionals, companies, organizations and institutions for their achievements, innovation, technology adoption and contributions to Nigeria’s technology ecosystem.
The inaugural NIGERIA Technology Awards (NiTA) was held on 21st November 2015 in Lagos, Nigeria, marking the beginning of the Awards’ commitment to identifying and celebrating individuals and organizations making significant contributions to Nigeria’s technology ecosystem.
Over the years, NIGERIA Technology Awards (NiTA) has recognized achievements across Technology Services, Software Development, Fintech, Banking, Telecommunications, Digital Services, E-Commerce, Education, Government, ICT Infrastructure, Entrepreneurship, Professional Services and other technology-enabled sectors.
NIGERIA Technology Awards (NiTA) continues to work towards building a credible, respected and internationally recognized technology awards platform that promotes Nigerian technology excellence, encourages innovation and showcases the achievements of Nigeria’s technology ecosystem locally and internationally.
THE OBJECTIVE
The primary objective of the NIGERIA Technology Awards (NiTA) is to promote, recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements by technology professionals, entrepreneurs, organizations and institutions contributing to the development of a sustainable and digitally enabled Nigerian economy.
