By accepting this award, you acknowledge that NIGERIA Technology Awards (NiTA) and its organizers does not imply or guarantee future performance or continued recognition.

Please note that all fees related to Post-Award Recognitions (e.g., certificates, plaques, publicity) are non-refundable once payment is made, regardless of future changes in status or participation.

1. Recognition Validity
All awards and recognitions granted by NiTA are valid as of the award year and are based solely on achievements and performance within the evaluation period.

2. Honorary Status
Awards are honorary and do not confer legal, financial, or contractual rights or obligations beyond public recognition.

3. Use of Award Title
Awardees may use their NiTA award title (e.g., “Tech Company of the Year – NiTA 2024”) for branding, publicity, and professional recognition purposes, provided it is used accurately and respectfully.

4. Non-Transferability
Awards are non-transferable and are granted to the individual or organization named during the evaluation process. They cannot be reassigned or passed to another entity or person.

5. Credibility Assurance
All awardees agree to allow NiTA to verify submitted data and achievements used during the nomination and evaluation process, both pre- and post-event.

6. Post-Award Verification
NiTA reserves the right to conduct additional verifications after the awards event to confirm continued eligibility and to uphold the credibility of the recognition granted.

7. Revocation Clause
NiTA reserves the right to revoke or suspend any award if credible evidence emerges that the awardee provided false information or engaged in unethical, fraudulent, illegal, or disreputable conduct.

8. Non-Refund Policy
All payments related to post-awards items (plaques, certificates, digital materials, branding kits, publication features, etc.) are non-refundable once processed.

9. Public Disclosure
By accepting the award, the awardee consents to their name, brand, photo, and award details being published across NiTA's official platforms, publications, and media partners.

10. Media & Publicity Use
NiTA reserves the right to use winners’ logos, photos, and testimonials for promotional, editorial, and archival purposes without additional consent.

11. Plaque and Certificate Collection
Awardees are responsible for collecting their plaques and certificates at the awards ceremony or arranging delivery (where applicable) at their own cost.

12. Accuracy of Representation
Awardees must not misrepresent the award or use the NiTA brand/logo in misleading or unauthorized contexts (e.g., implying sponsorship, product endorsements, or partnerships).

13. Acknowledgement of Award Status
The award is granted in recognition of past and present contributions, and does not guarantee continued or future performance or endorsement.

14. Third-Party Claims
NiTA shall not be held liable for any third-party claims, reputational outcomes, or business expectations arising from the awardee’s use of the recognition.

15. Recognition Display Rights
Awardees may display plaques, certificates, and digital badges in physical and online spaces as long as they are unaltered and not used in a defamatory or unlawful context.

16. Consent to Terms
By accepting the award or ordering any post-award materials, the awardee confirms agreement with all terms and conditions outlined herein.

17. Communication and Correspondence
All official communications should be directed to NiTA through verified email channels or the official website contact form.

18. Updates to Terms
NiTA reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of recognition materials constitutes acceptance of any such changes.

19. Jurisdiction
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes shall be subject to Nigerian legal jurisdiction.

20. Feedback and Reviews
NiTA may request awardees to provide testimonials or feedback post-event, which may be used for future promotional or documentation purposes.
